It is pointed out in the meeting that with the strong support of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Water Resources, and the joint efforts of the five provinces and 29 cities (counties), the inter-provincial joint conference system has played an active role. By focusing on key inter-provincial cooperation matters, improving the promotion mechanism, strengthening inter-provincial connection, cooperating and working closely, and showcasing their strengths, the development momentum of the Huai River Ecological Economic Belt has been continuously enhanced, and the results of cooperation have become more significant.

At the conference, leaders from the five provinces delivered speeches on implementing the “new mechanism for cross-city cooperation development” proposed at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party, deeply integrating and serving the national regional major strategies and regional coordinated development strategies, reviewed the Key Inter-Provincial Cooperation Matters for the Huai River Ecological Economic Belt for 2024-2025, and signed the Framework Agreement on Further Coordinating and Promoting High-Quality Development of the Huai River Ecological Economic Belt.
